10 November 2008 : Queensland All Schools Championships

The Queensland All Schools Championships.  350 kids participated across 6 races - 3 triathlon
events and 3 aquathlon events.  The event was full of colour and excitement.  The venue has
proved to be a great location to host with great water quality, nice running paths, good road
surface and spectator friendly.  Parking and disruption to Aquathlon course resulting in a last
minute course change will be rectified for next year to allow for a safe and enjoyable event.

The children particpating had a great time and enjoyed the days activities.  Many were going
for regional selection with up to 10 athletes from each race being selected for their regional 
teams.
