The first time trial had Thirty-nine aspiring elite athletes aged from 14-23 trialling.  The second
timetrial Forty-three athletes trialled.  These time trials provide a pathway for kids to enter the
Junior Emerging Triathlon Squad (JETS) and QAS/Metro Squad.  Both these squads provide
the athletes with some support to travel away to the Junior selection events.  There are camps
and clinics to support the athletes and their home coaches to enable the athletes to reach their
full potential.
