8 October 2008 : Kids excited for TQ Champs

The 2008 School Aged Championships will be held at Lake Kawana.  This provides a
great opportunity for kids to experience a open water swim in a safe closed environment.
Sportsman Parade, Kawana will be closed and marshalled with traffic controller.  Looks
like it shall be a great event, with many of the School Regions using the race as a
selection for the Queensland School Sport Championships in February next year.

Entries are now open for this event  - you can register on line or complete the entry form
and send it back to the TQ office.  Children born (1990 - 1996) will compete in Triathlon
events, whilst Children born (1997-2002) will compete in Aquathlon events (their State
Championship Triathlon events will be hosted at the Qld Sprint Championships in February).
