26 September 2008 : Felicity Abram set sights on claiming ITU World #1 for 2008 Triathlon Season
Queensland's Felicity Abram will have the opportunity to tie up the 2008 World Cup series title this weekend in Lorient, France, where she will compete against 44 other women including her only remaining threat Samantha Warriner of New Zealand.
22 year old Abram from Brisbane has exceeded all expectations for the 2008 ITU season, with no less than five podiums and a current ranking as ITU world number one.
Lining up as the single Aussie this weekend, Abram will be taking on a stellar field including 13 Olympians on the women's start line who are all aiming to move up the rankings before 2008 draws to a close, with only one more race to take place in November in Mexico.
