Chief Executive Officer
Tony Compier
Specialising in organisational development, Tony brings a wealth of management, operations and commercial expertise to the role of CEO. Driving Triathlon Queensland to achieve 'best-practice' standards will be the catalyst for delivering relevant and effective triathlon programs throughout the state. As a keen participant and observer of sports such as football, running and cycling, Tony's passion for sport combined with his organisational experience will lead Triathlon Queensland through an exciting phase of opportunity and growth.
Development Manager
Cath Rogers
Cath is a qualified Level 2 Triathlon coach and has been involved with the Triathlon Queensland Development Squads for many years. She is currently undertaking university studies in Master of Coaching at University of Queensland. This role is part time and will over see the strategic development of the development programs within Triathlon Queensland including Inclusive policy and program development, increasing our junior development programs, age group participation initiatives and regional development programs.
Operations Manager
Peter Ledwidge
Peter is our full-time Operations Manager. He has a Bachelors Degree in Business and Finance and brings with him experience from the financial services and sales and marketing industries. Peter not only takes care of duties within the Office, but is also very active within the Triathlon Community, regularly seen both assisting behind-the -scenes during events and competing in them.
Events Manager
Daniel Mangano
Daniel undertook work experience with our organisation in 2010 whilst completing his Bachelor of Business Majoring in Sports Management. Upon the completion of his degree he has taken up the role of Events Manager and will be looking at raising the profile of the TQ State Series.
Administration Officer
Nick McGowan-Christie
Nick works full time at TQ as the Administration Officer, working as point of contact for Administration, Finance and Volunteer Compliance (Blue Card). Previously employed with Scouts QLD, Nick has a Bachelor of Business (International Business) degree as well as continuing studies in IT with a Certificate IV in Information Systems (Web Design).
