Commenced employment with Triathlon Queensland in November 2007. Employed previously as Operations Manager for Rowing Queensland, Sports Adviser for SRQ and as a Local Government Sport & Recreation Officer. Currently completing a Masters Degree at the University of Queensland in Business Management - International Sport Management. Undergraduate degree in HMSc.
"I am passionate about sport, the development of clubs and the regionalisation of state sporting organisation services. Triathlon in Queensland is growing with close to 20 000 people participating in the sport. In the coming years it is my aim that all those participants will want to become members of Triathlon Queensland because of the service we provide." |
Administration Officer
Nick McGowan-Christie
Nick works part time at TQ as the Administration Officer. Previously employed with Scouts QLD, Nick is now undertaking studies in Business and IT. Nick is enjoying his time at TQ and is a great asset to our team.
Administration/Events - Casual
Lauren Knaggs
Lauren began working with TQ when undertaking a traineeship during years 11 and 12. In 2008 she won the Commonwealth's Vocational Student Prize for Excellence for her efforts during the traineeship. She has now been re-roled as a casual employee organising events and undertaking administrative duties, while also studying events management at Southbank Institute of TAFE. |
