Upcoming Level 1 Courses:

The next Level 1 Coaching Courses for 2012 will take place in Brisbane on December 1st and 2nd. Places are limited and given on a first come first served basis. The course is available to TQ and non-TQ members alike and prices vary accordingly. Payment for the course must be made in full at the time of application to secure a place. The following document gives details of course.

Regional Coaching courses
If you are in a regional area, are interested in attending a coaching course but can't get to any of the Brisbane courses please email operations@triathlonqld.com.au expressing your interest, explaining that you are in a regional area and stating your region. Peter will keep a record of this and try to arrange a course when there is sufficient interest from people within a certain region. To run a regional coaching course a minimum of 6 attendees would be required.

Information on Accreditation

Coach Level 1:

This training program is designed to provide training for beginner coaches who assist club and state championship level triathletes. THe potential target market also includes parents, teachers, current and former triathletes, fitness industry staff and senior secondary and university students. The level one program is driven, co-ordinated and managed by the State and Territory Triathlon Associations (STTAs). For more detailed information click on the link below.

Information Course Level 1


Coach Level 2:

This course is aimed at coaches working with state and national level triathletes. The level two course is a national course conducted by Triathlon Australia Ltd at least every two years. Coach Level 3:

The level 3 course is for coaches working with triathletes aiming for international level competition. Candidates for level three courses apply direct to Triathlon Australia Ltd. Applications should be marked to the attention of the National Performance Director.

Coach Level 4 (High Performance):

This training program is designed for coaches who are actively coaching only Elite ITU Draf Legal triathletes on a face-to-face basis and who have (World Championships, Commonwealth Games or Olympic Games) in the previous three years. For more detailed information click on the link below.
